I already posted this in sysadmin, hopefully I'm not breaking any rules by posting this here too...
A business owner hit me up 7 times in the past month - emails, FB msgs, and LinkedIn msgs. He started a company and trademarked the name, but I own hiscomapanysname.com and he and his lawyer are insisting I sell it to them. They trademarked it a month ago but I bought the domain name 3 years ago - so no issues there and I'm not cyber squatting or anything. He comes across as a nice dude in his emails and really wants to buy it from me. I googled him and he seems to have made some money from lawsuits in the past. I finally responded and asked him to make an offer. He replied and said $500. I think that is wayyyyyy too low of an offer. Perhaps if I held onto it it could be worth something? Any advice from someone with experience in this kind of thing would be very much appreciated!
